Mood by Lucy started with a simple frustration: rooms worth saving are everywhere, and almost none of them tell you what is actually in them.
So we make the rooms ourselves. Each Mood begins as an interior we would want to live in — imagined, lit, furnished, and photographed the way a magazine would shoot it. Then comes the harder half: finding real pieces, sold in Slovakia and Czechia, that bring the same feeling home.
We are not trying to show you everything. There are already sites with a hundred thousand sofas on them. We would rather show you one beautiful room and the six pieces we would genuinely choose to recreate it.

And yes — there is always a cat.
A ginger Maine Coon has turned up in every room we have ever made. We have stopped trying to explain it. He is asleep on a sofa somewhere in most of these photographs, and people have started looking for him — which seems like the right reason to keep him there.
